There are many reasons to buy your wine from Mills Whitcombe; the first and probably most important is the fact we source all of our wines from small independent growers who have a passion about the wine they are making.   This is not a factory product to these winemakers - this is their essence, their reason for being.  The quantities available from most of our growers are generally small, therefore loved and cared for - not made in a massive container which is one of thousands across acres of land, but one of one or two that the winemaker can keep his eye on personally. 

Mills Whitcombe tries to seek out the smaller grower who is still offering great quality because of lower overheads for both producer and Mills Whitcombe (We have a rural warehouse with a showroom rather than a glitzy London Shop)

Customer care is what Mills Whitcombe is about.  We are a small team comprising eight members of staff who will personally respond to any request or order you place.  Our own staff make most of our deliveries.  However for deliveries over 50 miles from Hereford we use parcelforce whom we have found to be the most reliable and courteous of the National Carriers available.

A large part of our business is dealing with hotels and restaurants. 

Our private clients order by phone or email or by visiting our showroom at Peterchurch nr Hay on Wye, Herefordshire.  Why not visit the book town and drop in and see us.  We have a stand at the Ludlow and Abergavenny food festivals which are usually held on consecutive week ends in the middle of September.
