Mills Whitcombe has been allocated 20 cases of the fantastic 2006 Redoma rosé.  10 of these cases have already been reserved, this leaves a further 10 cases that are available.  If you would like to have some of this great wine please let me know (Floyd) and I will send or reserve for you.

Made by the legend that is Dirk Niepoort there is no compromise in this wine. The wine is delicious now but will stand (and enjoy) being laid down for a year or two.

Redoma Rosé has a substance that is hidden behind its pretty pink colour. A very rich and intense nose, showing a combination of floral (violet) and fruit (berries and melon), wrapped by a perfect toast. In the mouth, it has surprisingly good body and personality for rosé wine.  This is due to the oak maturation, which also makes the wine soft, with hints of strawberry and vanilla, complemented by a light butter touch. A good acidity gives the needed freshness to this type of wine.

We have taken on a fabulous new Spanish brand called Centelleo, meaning "to sparkle" or "to twinkle". Sourced from an ultra modern producer in La Mancha, the range starts with a ripe, juicy Tempranillo and a bright, ‘citrussy’ Viura Chardonnay - We're pretty confident that Centelleo is going to be another winner.

Spain’s most famous grape variety, Tempranillo is full of juicy bramble and cherry fruit with hints of spice. Deliciously supple and succulent, it is great on its own or with grilled lamb cutlets, mild curries or casseroles.
